My mother has spent her whole life looking after others, she needs a new knee but the waiting list is too long for the pain she is in.

My mother has been looking after people her whole life, she puts everyone before her all of the time and has done since i can remember. I have an IHC sister who mum has looked after for 40 years, my sister has the brain mentality of a 2 year old, mum has loved and looked after my sister her whole life with no help what so ever, my sister is now in a home not far from my mothers house. Because mum looked after my sister for so many years unassisted her body is beyond her years, she is tired and fragile. Susan fell down a flight of stairs, they took an MRI which shows 2 tares inside the right knee, they confirmed that she needs a new knee, my mother is now passed the point of no return in constant pain on a daily basis, not sleeping and crying constantly from the pain, having to take morphine day and night, she has lost her zest for life as the pain is unbearable with bone on bone, they cannot afford to go private, the pain is unbearable and to have no surgery in sight or an end to the pain means as her daughter I must do anything I can to help her, we have a few options in front of us however we need to raise the money to pay for the knee. My mother deserves this so much, she has given to others her whole life and now its her turn to have something wonderful done for her. Mum has fundraised for IHC, sent an entire school in Fiji second hand books and stationary out of her own pocket and has rescued 2 dogs from deaths door she now calls Skip and Leo.
I am Susan's daughter, I need to save mum from the pain she is in daily, I am doing all that I can to help mum as she has always been the one to help others and it is now her that needs the help.
