The Halberg Junior Disability Games are being held in Cambridge. This is a national 3 day sports competition for physically disabled young people aged 8-21.
Takiri is a very strong and determined boy who is skilled at horse riding, singing and playing the guitar and ukelele. He loves playing sports at school, hockey, soccer handball and shooting hoops in basketball.
Being part of this event would help Takiri towards his goal of one day competing at the Paralympics.
Hi, my name is Amber and I'm Takiri's mum. I am involved in this because I love my son and I don't want him to miss out on this opportunity because I can't afford it. I only just saw a post on facebook about it and its in less than 4 weeks so I registered both of us to stay at the games village and when the total cost came up, I knew i had to do something to fundraise the money, I couldn't just give up. So we are here asking for your support for this cause to help Takiri get to the Halberg Junior Disability Games. Please donate if you can, however big or small it will help. Thanks.
