  • Gone but never forgotten

    It is with huge sadness this update is to say Carl passed away around 5pm on Friday 27th October, surrounded by his family.

    He fought for as long as he could but in the end it was just to much for his body.

    Unfortunately this is a further impact on Julz and the family that have had to struggle financially since this journey began.

    The cause is still very real and any assistance would be appreciated.

    Rest easy and tramp freely Carl.

    Thank you to all who have donated already to help these beautiful people.

  • 2 steps forward - 5 steps back :( - here they go again - round two....

    Update:

    At the time of this page being created Carl had just come out of ICU and onto a ward.

    It was always going to be a long road and Carl was making slow but good progress.

    However last week saw a decline again, Carl now back in ICU where they have inserted an extra drain as there was a collection of pancreatic gunk that got bigger and assisted breathing back in place. Although Carl has never been infection free, this is a big step backwards in terms of his recovery.

    The week prior to this, due to all the stress, Julz had a seizure in a local supermarket resulting in her cracking her head open and requiring staples.

    She has been told at this point she isn't to drive for a year due to this injury, adding even more on to an overloaded plate.

    There is still a huge need for these beautiful people to have financial assistance which of course would help to reduce some pressure/stress on them.

    To the people that have helped out already - thank you from the bottom of our hearts :)
