Under 23 World Rowing Champs, August 2016

In 2012 I was in the Coxed 4 that won Gold in the Junior World Champs in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In that same period I was also the HB Secondary Schools Sportsperson of the Year and the also won the title of HB Sportsperson of the Year. The next step on the rowing ladder is the Under 23 Championships but injury prevented me from trialing for it last year. With this year being the last time I can qualify (because of my age) I have given it everything and more. This has resulted in being selected to row for NZ in the Coxless 4 at the 2016 World Champs in Rotterdam. From May 30 we will start training like we have never trained before. Not only am I seeking funding for the $7,500 that I have to pay to Rowing NZ for the trip, I also need to subsidize my income during training as I will only be able to work part time. With your help I believe we have a great chance of showing the world what we are made of.
