Together we can help Tyler live.
Trina, Phil and their two children, Tyler and Jayden were recently surprised with devastating news: Tyler, their oldest boy of 4 and a half years, was diagnosed on March the 3rd 2016 with an aggressive and rare tumour in his brain.
We want to help Tyler live the long and happy life he deserves. Tyler is the bubbliest, friendliest, most outgoing and caring boy. Like other boys his age, Tyler is looking forward to starting school. He adores and is best friends with his little brother Jayden, who is only 1 and a half years old. We are here to make sure this friendship will last and Tyler will be able to see their dreams coming true together. Tyler has already undergone surgery to drain fluids from his brain and relieve the pressure, he has also undergone a second surgery to insert a duct that doctors will use to apply the medicines Tyler will need to fight the tumour.
During the nearly 25 days Tyler has spent in hospital, he has already touched the hearts of so many with his kindness and warm nature - he's constantly telling the nurses in hospital how beautiful they are, and he's getting many compliments for his manners and tenderness.
Tyler will start a tough treatment on March the 30th which is a combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy it has a 45% chance of success. This is what the family and friends are relying on and is our biggest hope - we know how hard he can fight and we know how kind his heart is so his journey towards recovery will be long and hard but we are convinced together we can make it.
Tyler's mom and dad, Trina and Phil, wish to stand by their sons side at the hospital throughout the next 6 months of treatment. They want to fully support their boy with the massive battle he is facing at such young age. As Trina and Phil are absurdly busy and absorbed with the caring of Tyler, we are organising this page to collect individual donations to help and support this amazing young family. Trina and Phil will not be able to work during Tyler's treatment and funds are running low - besides the amazing support the family is getting from the doctors and nurses involved in the treatment, bills keep adding up and for that we kindly ask for your support to help the family stay together while they are in Christchurch, away from there home town Blenheim during this extremely hard time. Every donation counts weather its big or small and the family will be wholeheartedly grateful for anything. We promise to keep the donors and friends posted on the advancements of Tyler’s treatment.
Please, let's combine forces and stand together to help our little Tyler live.
Together we can make it!
