    Today Ava-Marie is celebrating her 10th birthday. It is a momentous occasion!

    After 25 weeks of chemotherapy, radiation, many many procedures and hospital stays, Avie is cancer free!!!!!!!!

    It has been a long road for Avie but she has a strong fighting spirit and has battled like a soldier the whole way through.

    Working on eating again and strengthening her immunity, Avie hopes to return to school in the near future.

    Human's are incredible!!

    Thank you so much to all the amazing people who have donated over the past 24 hours, it is truly overwhelming.

    You have brought a smile to Ava-Marie's face & her Mum has shed a few tears over it all.

    Thank you all so so much. You are enabling Des to be by Ava's side and not have to worry about the burden of every day life & bills etc.

  • Ava-Marie's home!

    While this page has been pending approval from the team at give a little, Ava-Marie has spent over a week in the Ronald McDonald house and has now come home to the Bay to continue her treatment here in Tauranga. They have to regularly commute back and forth to Starship but for now, she may get to have Christmas at home. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated xx
