Help Carrie Heal

My auntie Carrie grew up experiencing extreme child abuse, physical abuse and sexual abuse until she was able to run away and change her name.

She has been on anti-depressants above the highest level for the past 16years and has somewhat coped through being a mother and pouring all of her attention and love towards her children.

Through that time she has experienced cervical cancer multiple times and other serious health scares.

Just to name the basics of what I am aware of without going into too much detail.

Carrie has felt immense levels of anger towards her life experiences and parents / those involved and has had suicidal attempts as she is exhausted from feeling this way.

Now that her children have grown up, she has realised that she can no longer suppress her feelings with anti depressants or by focusing on everyone but herself.

Carrie has now successfully come off of the antidepressants as she no longer wants to 'suppress' and has realised that she is ready to begin healing from within as there is no other option in order for her to feel free and enjoy life.

I want to do everything I can to help my Aunty heal from within.

And the best thing that I feel will create this shift is to take her away from everything she knows as her reality, away from distractions and a stressful environment.

She has never been outside of New Zealand And I would like to take her to Bali for a month of deep self care, healing, inner work, forgiveness and an awakening of how beautiful life can be with some fresh new energy and eye opening experiences while shifting her mindset into a positive new perspective.

She doesn't have the funds for this trip so I have offered to raise funds from those who feel called to support as well as contributing myself.

My auntie Carrie has always been my favourite aunt as she has such a beautiful and loving soul and there is nothing more that I want than to see her feeling free and empowered to create the rest of her life in joy.
