I have been selected to Represent NZ at the 2015 UCI BMX World Titles in Belgium this July. This is an self-funded trip so I need your help.
Waikato
Hello, my name is Cole McOnie I am a BMX racer from Te Awamutu, New Zealand. I am 17 years old and have been racing BMX since I was 3, so around 14 years. I am a student of Hamilton Boys’ High School, participating in my final year in 2015. For as long as I can remember, my goal and dream has been to represent my country for BMX racing on an international level, including the Elite World Championships and Olympic Games. As I continue to get older, and my performances continue to improve, my lifelong goal is starting to turn into a reality.
I have recently been selected as one of two Junior Men (17-18 years) to Represent New Zealand at the 2015 UCI BMX World Championships in Belgium this July. This is a completely self-funded trip so I need as much financial support as possible. As this is an Elite competition, cyclingnewzealand's criteria requires me to have a nominated guardian with me at all times during the competition. For this reason, we also have to fund my father to come with me.
In between training twice per day and attending school I am, along with my family are doing all we can to help fund-raise this opportunity.
Donations fund-raised will go towards paying for flights and accommodation for myself and my guardian, event entry fees, rental car, and other expenses needed whilst on the trip.
Any donations or support will be greatly appreciated.
