Morrison Sisters (Athlete & Coach) aim for World Champs and Commonwealth Games Qualifying Times
Please help Fi (athlete) and Jill (coach) travel to Europe to qualify for the World Champs and the Commonwealth Games in the 100m Hurdles.

Hi my name is Fiona Morrison and I am the New Zealand Residents Record Holder and 5x National Champion in the 100m Hurdles. My sister Jill has coached me since I was 12 and is a critical part of my success so far.
I am aiming to qualify for the 2017 World Champs and the 2018 Commonwealth Games. The time needed is 13.05s B-standard or 12.98s A-standard and my personal best is 13.16s so is very close to the time needed.
In order to achieve these standards, my coach and I have decided that I need to travel to Europe for a month to chase my dream. I compete best under pressure and Europe will provide opportunities to compete against the World's best.
I am not a funded athlete nor is my coach and we will have to come up with the funds ourselves to reach this goal.
Use of funds
Any help towards our cause would be gratefully appreciated and we appreciate your support in this endeavour. The donations will go towards travel (flights and trains), accommodation, training facilities and entry fees. The estimated cost of the trip will be approximately $7000 each.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated towards our trip already- we are so appreciative of all of your kind and generous support! We have raised nearly $2000 so far which will make a huge difference to our expenses for the trip. I leave in 6 weeks to travel to Belgium and Jill will follow a week later to meet up before the first competition in Brussels. Training has been going well so far & we have our first lot of hurdle and sprint time trials this weekend in Timaru =D
