On 06/07 – 15/07, ‘Kwang Myung Presbyterian Church’ has planned a voluntary mission trip to Fiji. As a team of 26, our aim is to help restore health and basic infrastructure for the villages in local towns of Fiji.
As you would have heard on the news, Tropical Cyclone Winston has done severe damage to the Fijian Islands. Our church had received an urgent SOS from our friends in Fiji so we have directed our yearly mission trip towards this cause.
Our team is going to 3 locations (Ba, Tavua Island, and Laotoka) to help out the local people. We will be staying at the “12 Baskets” organization based in Laotoka. Our work will begin here and branch out towards the other villages listed.
Our mission trip involves the following:
• Providing food and clean water
• Restoration and development of basic and farmland infrastructure
• House to house provision of medication and treatment with certified doctors and nurses.
• Education and interaction of youth.
All fees for flights have been independently funded but we still require approximately $12,000 to complete our mission. In detail is roughly a split into:
• $10,000 work equipment, transportation, infrastructure raw materials, and food
• $1000 - $1200 medical equipment and pharmaceuticals
• $500 - 800 for materials needed for children education and gifts
Photos and details will be updated through the gallery page!

Every little bit helps and it all adds up.
We appreciate your support and thank you for your time and contribution.
With love and perseverance all is possible!
Warm regards
