Medical expenses for Jack & Jill Eclectus
As most of the Bird World knows, I stepped up and offered help for Jack and got conned into having to take Jill.
Auckland
I am asking for help with costs for the help I have offered these two Eclectus. My costs have been purchase of both, to be able to offer Jack the operation he needed on his broken leg. They are both still under the AV due to slight signs of Staphylococci and the cost just keeps increasing.
I paid $2.500 for them, Air flight from Auckland down and back. Dunedin. Flight for them to Auckland. AV fees for general vet check. Av fees for surgery on Jacks bad leg. AV rechecks and meds. Expected AV costs could add another $200 or $300.
I had planned on selling Jill to help cover costs, But Jack may miss his sister, and with on going treatment, I cannot sell her. If all goes well I will make sure she stays with Jack.

I was the one who put up the money to rescue these two from a bad situation and get Jacks leg looked at.
Use of funds
To pay for Vet fees and a little to help cover the costs of rescuing them.

Thank you so much. I really do not like asking for help. But did stretch myself a little to get them out of there as quick as possible. Jack and Jill are safe and doing very well. It has been one of the most confusing rescues I have been involved in. Again thank you so much. Not sure where you are from! But if ever in Auckland please come and visit. Clive.
