Second Commonwealth Dream

$1,085 of $5,000 goal
Given by 20 generous donors in 8 weeks

Please help me to make history for New Zealand and be the first rhythmic gymnast to qualify for a second Commonwealth Games.

Canterbury

Hi Everyone, my name is Keziah Oliver and I am a Rhythmic Gymnast. I have been competing internationally for New Zealand for 8 years now and have been lucky enough to have been chosen previously to compete at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. As the oldest competitive gymnast in the country now, it is my goal to be the first rhythmic gymnast to compete for New Zealand at two Commonwealth Games. I am currently ranked 2nd in the country, I am the national hoop champion and the highest scoring gymnast in Canterbury. Even with as much support as I am able to get from my family, training is very expensive and it takes big portion of time, commitment and money. Affordable competitions for me to get to are very limited so I am putting my all into every training and chance to compete this year that I can. For me to succeed I will need your help. I have set up this page with the hope that with your help, I will be able to make history for New Zealand.

I will use the money that you raise here to assist to pay for my training expenses and travel to and from competitions.

I will be very thankful for anything you can spare.

Use of funds

These funds raised will go towards my new apparatus for this competition season. ($200 in total for a new ball and ribbon). All other funds will go towards my travel costs to Canada for a series of competitions and training that will be used as part of my qualification for Commonwealth Games 2018.

Flights and accommodation - approx. $3000

Training in Canada - $400

Competition Entries - $380

Officials Fees - $500

Total - $4480
