Funeral and travel expenses
I wish to raise money for a beautiful funeral for my mum and for travel expenses for my daughter and I to see her as much as possible.

This time last year I got the dreadful news that mum had cancer. After surgery to remove a 17cm tumour and her right kidney I bought her to my home in Napier so I could care for her during her recovery.
During the year we were backwards and forwards to the doctor and hospital as she was suffering from terrible back pain. We were told she had Arthritis. Well it wasn't and this week we were told that she has bone cancer secondary to kidney cancer. She has returned to live in Wellington to be close to her friends.
The last year has taken a huge emotional and financial toll on my life.
In Late January I lost my Aunt (mums sister) to secondary bone cancer also.
Mum is a pensioner without savings or insurance. I am a single parent and the last year has taken a severe toll on my personal finances.
I wish to raise money for two reasons.
1. to pay for my mums funeral expenses
2. to pay for travel to and fro Wellington for my daughter and I to spend as much time with mum before she passes.

I also wish to have funds for my daughter and I to travel to Wellington as often as possible to spend time with mum before she passes.
Mum and my 9 year old daughter have a lovely close relationship and mum is her only grandparent.
