Help the girls meet to help them grieve the loss of their father.

Isla, Anthea and Saphira lost their Father on the 25/06/2017 in a tragic accident. They are all finding his loss terribly difficult to process and Isla has asked me on numerous occasions if she could please meet her half sisters. I feel this is something isla (and her siblings) need to connect and be able to talk about their Father. Isla has no memories of him and memories is what helps us move forward, without that Isla is stuck in limbo so to hear about her father from her siblings would be beneficial for them all.

I'm Isla's mum and seeing her struggle and completely close off from me is breaking my heart, I've sought help from a grief counsellor who has said that with Isla being 5 it is hard for her to manage emotions and thinks it would also be beneficial for her to meet her siblings. I've also been in contact with Saphiras mum and Antheas mum who have mentioned their girls are also having a hard time grieving their loss.

Use of funds

The funds will be used to pay for travel costs (ferry costs, petrol) for Isla and myself to Invercargill to meet Anthea and to fly Saphira and her mum in from Australia to Invercargill so all the girls can meet at once. There will also be accommodation costs.
