So, at the ripe old age of 51 (both of us) we are getting hitched; first time for both of us!
Wellington
Although we have talked of doing so for sometime, we have brought the wedding forward by about 18 months. Why? Because Linda's mum has terminal cancer and it's really important to us that she be able to attend whilst still well enough to. She (mum) has been in hospital nonstop since 23rd August. During this time she had a stroke in her spine and can no longer walk. This has been a stressful time. Linda had two part-time jobs, one which she resigned from due to workplace bullying, the other an unfair dismissal (which lead to union taking action)
Our rent is 60% of Sara's salary who has extra costs due to her osteo and rheumatoid arthritis. So, we are organising our wedding on a shoe string, hence the givealittle.
We would like to have a little joy in this difficult and painful time. We don't need heaps. We would love for you to help out and would be very grateful.
Paying for marriage licence, photographer, contribution to dressmaker, make up artist, flowers, shoes for Linda (size 13), shoes for Sara (split and holes in them due to the swelling in her feet as a result of the rheumatoid arthritis), and one night in a hotel.
