Help send me to Greece!

Hello!! Welcome to my page, thanks for stopping by! If you don't already know, I am heading over to serve in Greece in the refugee crisis. Since giving God the rest of my life, He has grown my heart and passion for refugees, Muslims, and particularly the Middle East. After doing a DTS through Ywam last year, I learnt a lot about what truly following Jesus looks like and had a lot of personal growth and breakthrough. I have since been asking God for direction, and I have felt strongly to go over and be a part of serving in Greece. There are thousands of refugees fleeing from war torn countries, and my heart is so for them, just to love them and welcome them, and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Earlier this year I began praying more for these parts of the world, the persecuted christians, and those who have never heard about Jesus. I have done some study on Islam and have such a desire to be able to communicate the gospel with those following that faith. I also felt that while I am uncertain of what is next for me, to be preparing myself in any way I can. I have been studying TEFL(teaching English as a foreign language), and have been spending plenty of time with God(heart preparation!) and also serving others where I can.

I have planned to go to Levos in late October(leave on the 21st!) for 8weeks, where we will be welcoming and caring for the refugees as they arrive, feeding and clothing them, helping them get their refugee status, teaching English, building relationships, looking after the children, and whatever else needs to be done!
