After years of training and working hard Hana has achieved her goal and dream and qualified for the Hip Hop World Champs in Las Vegas.
Nelson / Tasman
Hana and the Mega Crew she is part of ' The Capital' have qualified to represent NZ at the Hip Hop International World Champs in Las Vegas in August. This is the Olympics of Dance, a week long competition where over 3500 dancers represent over 47 countries. As well as supporting herself through University Hana is also fundraising hard to get there. This has been a dream of Hana's for many years.
From Hana: At the age of 5 i was under the impression Mum was taking me to ballet lessons and finding out it was Hip Hop,Ii was so angry at her. Two weeks later, I immediately fell completely in love with hip hop and haven't looked back ever since. Since then my love for dance has only grown. From completing my dance exams, to performing in shows and competitions, to teaching my first dance class, to taking my own crew to nationals, staring on New Zealand's Got Talent with Origin and representing NZ, i can easily say this is my biggest passion in life.
Lets Get behind Hana and get her and her crew on the world stage :)
Mad Beat has set this page up to help Hana. Hana danced at MB for 7 years before moving to Wellington to attend University & train under TCNZ. While at MB Hana was an inspirational tutor to so many dancers, she always worked so hard and we know how long this has been her dream for. Backing Hana and TCNZ 'The Capital' all the way :)
