Kon'nichiwa - Kia Ora. Help Hohepa get to Tokyo/Japan

KIA ORA - KON'NICHIWA.

I AM TRYING TO GET TO TOKYO/JAPAN TO COMPETE & RESEARCH JIU JITSU.

I work in Te Kura Kaupapa Maori as a Teacher (primary school)whatoto/rongomamau (Jiu Jitsu - student/teacher/ researcher & competitor).

My aim is to head to Japan to expand & collect knowledge to support the revitalization of traditional Maori Wrestling (whatoto/rongomamau).

During my time in Japan, I will be competing in both the Japanese Open & Japanese Grand-Prix Jiu Jitsu Competitions.

The knowledge gained from this experience, will help develop & grow Maori Youth within my Kura & local community, through education and sport.

This trip is 100% self-funded and I am looking to the generosity of the NZ public, to help make this opportunity a reality.
