Fundraising for a specialist walker not available in NZ to enable Hunter to find his feet.
Auckland
Hunter is a gorgeous, lively 6 year old boy with Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy and severe development delays. It is my dream to one day see Hunter be able to walk and this dream could become a reality with a Hart Walker. Unfortunately these are not readily available in NZ so I am working with the Lions Child Mobility Scheme to get Hunter one from Australia. The Lions bring specialists out from Australia every six months for clinics. Hunter attended a clinic in March and was assessed as being suitable to receive a Hart Walker and we hope to raise enough funds by the September clinic to be able to purchase one for him. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to look at Hunter's page xxx
Hunter is my son, my heart, my life. I will do everything in my power to make sure he leads a happy, fulfilled life and is able to reach his fulll potential.
We've done it! 5 July 2016
I am so thrilled to be able to let everyone know that your generous donations, coupled with some amazing fundraising by Hunter's daycare and grants from the Cerebral Palsy Society and Lions Foundation mean we have raised enough to get Hunter his Hart Walker. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone that donated and cannot wait to begin the next stage of Hunter's journey and hopefully share his first steps with you. Lots of love from Hunter & I xxx
