Helping Families with the Costs of Irlen Spectral Filters Tests and Lenses

I am raising money to help families be able to pay for their children's/loved ones Irlen's Spectral Coloured Filter Lenses and the testing that goes with determining if they need them and if they in fact have Irlen Syndrome.

So many children in New Zealand have Irlen's and can benefit so much at school, sport and all other branches of activities that they would like too do, and all that is stopping them is the funds available to help them get their own individualised Irlen's Coloured Spectral Lenses but their families just simply can't afford it.

The testing can be pricey, the diagnostic testing and then ontop the coloured filters. I would love to be able to give the children the opportunity to have this and help families out.

I know the benefits, the coloured lenses have given to my own children and how it has helped them. I want to be able to pay it forward for these families.

I myself have three special needs kids. I am also a qualified Education Support worker and a Certified Irlen Screener myself. Every little bit helps a child/children be able to access something so simple, that will make a huge difference to their lives.
