Garth has given so much to others. Now he needs our help to access life-changing immunotherapy not funded in NZ.
Auckland
For those of us who know and love Garth, you'll know the person he is - endlessly positive, a tireless contributor and someone who constantly shows up for others.
He is a much loved husband, dad and Pa'ga, a brother, friend and integral person in the school community he loves and has served for 23 years. Garth gives generously and consistently with his time, creativity, skills and resources. He genuinely cares and lives life with others in mind.
Over the past year, Garth has faced cancer with resilience, faith and courage. He has undergone major surgery and radiation and now lives with resultant chronic pain and permanent facial paralysis. His specialists have advised that his remaining hope lies in accessing immunotherapy, and they are very positive about its potential for significant positive impact. Unfortunately the specific immunotherapy required is not funded in NZ for the type of cancer Garth has.
So we are coming together to raise $130,000. This will enable Garth to access a course of immunotherapy treatment and restore him to a full and healthy life.
If Garth has impacted your life, or if you simply feel moved to help, we would love you to be part of this journey by donating towards his treatment or by sharing this story. We thank you so much in advance.

WOW! Thank you so much to those who have already donated towards Garth's life saving treatment. The family is blown away by your generosity. We are well on the way to being able to start the treatment. This is both humbling and inspirational all at the same time. Thank you so much.
