Helping hand for Emily Grace

$4,270 donated
Given by 57 generous donors in around 3 months

Raising funds to support a young couple as they face significant medical challenges.

Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt

Emily had just earned her Early Childhood degree and was looking forward to working closely with children when her health took an unexpected and difficult turn. She is now facing kidney issues, cancer, and a recent brain clot, making it impossible for her to work. This has created a heavy financial strain for her and her husband as they try to keep up with their mortgage while focusing on her healing. Any support, no matter the amount, would bring them comfort and relief during this very challenging time.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
