Helping Hannah raise money to preserve her fertility. So after treatment her and Neill can start a family.
Bell Block, New Plymouth
This is Hannah. She’s a mother, partner, sister, and friend who has always been the one to help others, light up a room, and offer encouragement when needed most. An advocate for the disabled, foster children, and human rights, Hannah has always fought for others with fierce determination.
Recently, after weeks of feeling unwell and noticing lumps in her neck, Hannah was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a cancer that attacks the lymphatic system.
Hannah’s life has been marked by hardship, from family violence to the foster system, and suffering in group homes where the system failed her. Despite it all, she’s always fought to overcome. Recently, she and her partner Neill purchased their first family home, but just four weeks later, she received this devastating diagnosis.
To make matters harder, because Hannah has a daughter, they are not eligible for fertility preservation funding.
This is where we step in. Your donation, no matter the amount, will ease the financial burden of medical expenses and treatments. It will allow Hannah to focus on healing, knowing she has a community that believes in her. Together, we can give Hannah the support she deserves as she continues her fight.
Hannah and I have been best friends for 15 years. We have been through a awful lot together and now it is my turn to do what I can to help her.
