Helping get a talented young Women to Germany
Nationwide
I have recently watched this amazingly talented Y12 girl absolutely clean up! Jordyn has been one of 4 from NZ successfully chosen to go to Germany! The 4 will spend time in elite stables learning from / being trained by the best of the best. This is an opportunity of a lifetime & amazing achievement being selected!
Anyone who knows me knows, I'm a huge advocate for backing our youth and ensuring ALL kids get platform to fulfill their potential. That our kids never have to adjust their aspiration or limit their opportunities because their talents and Parents salaries don't align.
We all appreciate the struggles of fundraising for our kids endeavors! School, sport or otherwise but finding 10k in 8weeks is no easy task..
Jordyn's Parents (Jimmy and Kasey) are both hard working folk, they were very reluctant and concerned about stigma of a donation page.
I've watched as the date draws closer and they diligently plug away with raffles/fundraisers, doing the hard yards. With Jordyn being 1 of 3 Highschool kids in this household its a tough gig trying to raise such funds. With only 4weeks to go I suggested I start one.
I have watched Jimmy Jordyns Dad share Jordyn's progress as she has gone from strength to strength cleaning up in the show jumping arena.
I truly believe we will see this young lady on the World stage representing NZ in the years to come.
If you're in a position to donate no matter how small amazing. If not sharing equally as helpful.
Lets help get this Talented young lady to Germany!
My connection - Jimmy, Jordyn's Dad was part of a Dilworth cohort i kicked about with in my own youth. We met again training with the same folk at gym the same about 8years ago, then discovered Jordyn was at School with two of my best Girlfriends children.
All expenses in getting her there and gear required to go.
