Help my Dad Rebuild our Family Business after Devastating Ram Raids
Wellington
I’m writing this on behalf of my dad, Graham, who is 69 years old and one of the hardest-working people I know. Despite his age, he continues to run our small family business.
Over the past five months, we’ve faced numerous challenges, including our business being burgled and then ram raided twice. Early this morning (13th December 2024), we were hit for the second time. The shop still has wooden panels from the most recent raid, which occurred less than a month ago, showing how we're still trying to recover from the last
As Christmas approaches, it’s heartbreaking to see my dad go through this instead of enjoying this special time of year for the business and as a family. These repeated attacks have devastated us emotionally and financially. Although we have insurance, the repairs, loss of stock, and extra security measures are still costly to my family. My dad has worked tirelessly for decades to build this business, and seeing it repeatedly targeted has been heartbreaking for all of us.
I am asking for any support to please help cover the costs of repairs and loss of sales while we try to get back on our feet. Every donation will help my family and keep us going during this incredibly difficult time so close to Christmas.
Thank you so much for reading and for any support you can offer.
I am his daughter, and it breaks my heart to see my dad having to go through such a difficult time for the third time this year.
The main goal is to cover repair costs, replace lost stock, and improve security measures to keep our family business running, as well as support us through the loss of income during the busiest time of the year - Christmas
