    Kia ora everyone,

Thank you all for the incredible support and generosity you’ve shown through the Givealittle page. Every donation and message of encouragement fuels my journey on the Hīkoi of Hope, and knowing that people believe in me has helped me with my purpose.

I’m proud to share that I’ve been sober for about 5 1/2 weeks now—a milestone that fills me with deep gratitude. The journey has been challenging but profoundly rewarding, and each step reinforces my commitment to sobriety and healing.

Recently, I spent a week hiking in the beautiful Mount Somers area, staying in the Woolshed and Pinnacles Huts, immersed in nature’s beauty. I left just in time to avoid snow and made my way to Hokitika, where I’m now based in a friend’s cabin with solar power and a lovely view of Lake Mudgie. This peaceful part of the West Coast has been grounding and rejuvenating, a perfect place to focus on maintaining my sobriety.

At 5 1/2 weeks sober, I’m motivated to keep sharing my experiences, hoping they offer strength to others facing similar challenges. Your support is a vital part of this journey, and I can’t thank you enough.

Please stay tuned for more updates, moments from the road, and stories shaping my recovery. I’m incredibly grateful to have you alongside me.

    Nga mihi nui,

    Josh Woodgate-Jackson

A heartfelt thank you to all my family, friends, and kind individuals helping. You are making the world a more positive space.

We've got a way to go before we can complete the financial side. But your support has massively helped.

It'll be a challenging journey for my father, but we know he can do it.

Please read the link below. we've been interviewed and featured in the NZHerald which has been posted NATIONALLY.

We'd like to give a big shoutout to everyone who has donated to the Givealittle page.

And then first and foremost we'd like to say a giant thank you Hunting & Fishing for being the first to donate various clothing.

Then a giant thank you to Grace Odlum from NZME (New Zealand Media & Entertainment.).

And to Boat City for also donating towards Josh's hikoi...

It's a nice feeling to come together to help when it matters.

Stay healthy, stay strong. And once again, nga mihi nui. Big thank you.
