A page to support our friend with cancer diagnosis.
Bay of Plenty
Roachey, the sweetest and most beautiful human I know needs our help.
Recently we have been given the devastating news that she has breast cancer. It is Grade 3.. which means we still have a chance to save our girl. This has come as a massive shock to us all, especially her family who are still supporting her sister through her own cancer journey.
Anything you can offer to support her in her healing journey will be deeply appreciated by her and the many that adore her.
Please share with all!
Roachey has been a best friend since the age of 13.
She is a best friend to many. The shoulder that everyone cried on, the one with the wisest words, the one with the biggest smile. She is the most special friend to many.

Roachey Update 16th June 16 June 2025
Since Roachey’s last update, things have been incredibly intense. She began radiation on May 21, targeting her breast, chest, and underarms. During treatment, fluid rapidly built up around her left lung, then her abdomen, back, and neck. After urgent drainage at A&E, she completed her final two days of radiation and was transferred to Waikato Hospital for lung surgery to prevent heart and lung failure.
The surgery (on May 29) went well, and Roache spent a week recovering in hospital. While it appears successful, further cancer was found in her left lung and a new spot appeared on her liver. These past weeks have been deeply challenging — physically and emotionally.
Still, there is hope. Radiation worked well on her breast and right underarm, with tumours shrinking or disappearing. Sadly, the cancer in her collarbone has progressed into her neck.
Roachey is now starting ozone therapy and continues working closely with the RIFE clinic in Auckland. Her strength and spirit remain fierce.
