Helping my battle to survive

  • 6 months

      10 July 2018

Hi everyone just a little update on whats been going on. I turned down the chemo they broought up from Christchurch, after reading alot about it, turned out to be more worse then better as one main effect it had was stopping wounds from healing and I have just started healing :) so I have put most of my original weight back on and I am on a plant-based wholefood vegan diet and juicing/smoothies for detoxing everything in me... seems to be working very effectively as most of my wounds are scars now barr my foot/toes wound which is still healing and up my nose which is still ongoing appointments. Has also been amazing being home spending time with my wife and kids. once i can get my foot in a boot ill be ready to go back to work. I'd like to sincerely thank everyone who has read my page the support has been overwhelming, nice to know there are still compassionate people in the world.

    Much love to you all.

So 5ish months on the Vasculitis is still aggressive in my body as they have only just fully diagnosed me and i DO NOT have pyoderma gangrenosum which they have been treating me for this hole time. So in this period since last update they have cut off 4 toes on my right foot leaving me with my big toe, as the disease killed 1 toe then spread. I have also had surgery up my nose and sinus passages due to the Vascilitis spreading. And only just this week they are flying a chemo drug from Christchurch which is specifically designed to treat this type of Vascilitis. So 5ish months on i might start getting better :) thanks to everyone who has donated or even just read my story.

Since I have made this page, I have been diagnosed with Vascilitis along with Pyoderma Gangrenosum and Cryoclobulin. I have had alot of antibiotics aswell as 2 doses of chemo yet my wounds are getting worse. I have now decided to seek alternative medicines, starting with hyper barric oxygen treatment. The oxygen treatment and alternatives are not funded through the hospital and that is why I am re-opening my page.
