Helping the people of Ukraine

An update from Mark: "Yesterday I was in Tiszabecs which is the border crossing for the Ukrainian town Vylok. I helped out at the refugee centre that had been set up at a local school. I spent a good few hours down there just helping them move stuff around and helping out any people who came by. It wasn't anything too exciting, but will undoubtedly help people in the long run. Fortunately, the need for supplies has quietened down a bit but I popped down to check at the Hungarian Border today and they had a few needs. So, one last supplies hurrah on the Hungarian border, and to pick up my mother-in-law who is coming across the Hungarian border! Her visa has been approved for New Zealand and she is coming back to live with us. Will be so amazing for my wife and sons to have their Babushka at home. After that, it's time for me to come home to New Zealand, and to my family.

Being able to help the displaced of Ukraine over the past 6 weeks has been an eye-opening and life-changing experience - it has been truly humbling. Your donations and support have helped facilitate supplies going to the people who need them, and ensuring that families got far away from the war zone and into the safety of neighbouring nations. Any remaining funds will be given to charity movements on the ground, who are in the mix and helping to get things done!"
