Helping Hudson

    Little Hudson is one week old today!

    He has been off the ventilator and breathing on his own for the last three days now. The medication he is on is continuing to prevent any further seizures.

    Because of this he was moved out of the "High Priority" room last night, and from the incubator into a cot.

    Such good news for this sweet little boy who has been through so much during his first week in the world.

    Another MRI is scheduled for Monday for this little champ, so they should get a better idea of how he is doing.

    He is off the morphine and starting to move, so he should hopefully wake up over the next day.

    He is now only on one medication for his seizures which seems to be working. He hasn't had a seizure in over 36 hours.

    So now it's just a matter of him waking up and then we can see if the stroke has affected him in anyway.

    (Kylie was also able to have her first cuddle with Hudson since the seizures began)
