International Volunteer HQ has 10 years' experience in sending volunteers abroad to various projects in more than 30 international locations. IVHQ's medical project in Ghana works alongside local staff, with a focus on assisting resource limited rural communities without good access to basic healthcare.
Many communities throughout the world don’t have the same access and opportunity to healthcare that we have in NZ. I have chosen to undertake a 4 week volunteer program, starting from the 15th June 2017, to be able to give back through my nursing practice to communities with less opportunities. I hope my contribution will be as valuable as the experience and opportunity to learn will be for me.
