Please help us bring justice and hope to the three kittens we found in a box on the side of the road.

Auckland

my flatmate and I found a box that was on the side of the road with kittens trying to climb out just around the corner from where i live in Pakuranga heights. They were shaking in shock, had a low temperature, covered in fleas, had nasty worms and also fighting for their lives with a horrible cat flu, these three kittens were lifeless and could not move or see not only that one of the male kittens is missing an eye the other male cross eyes and the female was extremely under weight. without a doubt me and my partner spent every cent we had saved for Christmas gifts, dinner and a holiday on is week off, but we didn't think for a second about ourselves we just wanted what was best for these wee kittens to survive and live their lives they were brought into this world for.

We are now struggling with a large vet bill, after school care bill and cars that keep getting one problem after another, we are slowly paying things off one at a time. so with heroic help of care vets mt wellington they are doing their best to ensure we have the best care and they have been absolutely outstanding with their help. we still have to save for de-sexing and vaccinating all three kittens and surgery to the missing eye of one of the male, not to mention the food and cat litter they need, we don't have a lot of money but we do what we can to make it work one way or another.

A few weeks went by we saw the story about another kitten called "Bob" whom was also dumped in the same street, (ennis ave) he was in the same poor conditions as our three kittens and was also missing an eye not to mention he looked to be the same age and from the same litter as he looks identical to one of the males that also missing the eye.

After wonderful treatment and ongoing treatment from Care Vets Mt Wellington who i highly recommend as your local vet , and after spending all our Christmas money and savings money on them, we have taken a lot of time off work and study to get them back at full health and they are doing well

These lucky little kittens now have a good chance of a happy life with us with a big thank you to my partner Billy and his work team at animates Sylvia park, care vets mt wellington for your medical attention,The lonely Miaow association for getting our story out there and those who generously offered donations, also those who had something nice to say means the world.

Words just cant describe how honored and thankful we are to still have wonderful people in this country.

Carmen Prime's involvement (page creator)

Im involved in helping animals in need because they have just as much value in life as man kind.

i want to put some simple and clear words out there for people in need of help with their animals.

Don't be ashamed to reach out for help, people like the me, SPCA, local vets and other foster care organisations are here for you its not just about the money there is someone, somewhere willing to help those in need.

Beating animals and abandoning them will get you absolutely nowhere, it just brings shame on you.

one problem solved is many more prevented.

Thank you.
