Lets make Linda's journey through breast cancer just a little easier and help her send her daughter Ally on a school exchange to China!
Bay of Plenty
Ally has been studying Chinese since intermediate, it is a subject she enjoys and hopes will help her work and travel overseas once she has completed her education. In 2016 Ally and her mum Linda began preparing for Ally to take part in an exchange trip to China in April 2018, through Ally’s school.
In April this year Linda was diagnosed with her2-positive breast cancer and has had to take a year’s leave from work to undergo treatment. I have known Linda since our girls were best friends in primary school, Linda has always been there for myself and others and I have always admired her ability to provide for and put her children first no matter what life has thrown at her. I have seen her go without to ensure Jaz and Ally have everything they need and so they do not miss out on school trips, their education and being able to be kids. Parenting is hard enough but when you are a solo mum fighting breast cancer life gets a bit harder.
Ally’s trip is coming up fast and Linda is an amazing parent, person and friend she is not someone who likes to ask for help but I know she has a great group of friends and family around her who, like me want to help and support her on this journey in any way we can. So come on guys let’s make Linda’s journey a little easier, let’s take some of the financial pressure off, let’s give a little and help Linda send Ally to China!
I have known Linda for many years and she has always been there for me, she is an inspiration and I want to support her in anyway I can.
The funds will be used to send Linda's daughter Ally to China next April. The cost of this is around $4000 but guys lets try to raise as much as we can so we can make this journey as stress free as possible for Linda and the girls.
