Lisa & family need help after fire

Lisa & Grant have worked so hard to get to where they are. Working hard to provide for their family and community, with their little boy Giacomo who has recently undergone heart surgery they thought their troubles were behind them!

Unfortunately there has been a fire in their house causing hundreds of thousands of dollars damage which the insurance company doesn't cover.

Lisa & Grant have worked so hard to get their house and then finally a little cafe of their dreams which they may have to sell to pay for the repairs on their house and pay the mortgage while no one is living there. Finding a new job could also be on the cards for Lisa, so they will need some security until that happens. The family may have to move away from Auckland to be able to afford another house. These are all just possibilities at the moment. I want to give them options! After working so hard it is heartbreaking to see them go through this.

Lisa has always had such a big heart and is the first person to help others and reach out to people in need. She has run a Christmas dinner for 15 families in need all on her own steam & pocket. Also carrying around a "help pack" for homeless people she comes across on the street. She is often giving away food and items to the community.

It is time to give back to her and her family so they don't have to uproot themselves and leave Auckland through something they have no control over. I would like to believe there is enough help out there to shine some light on their hour of darkness.

On top of everything the house has been broken into twice since the fire and securing the property alone has cost $1250 !!
