Help my big brother in his journey to battle depression and drop his weight to save his life

The reason i am doing this is to raise funds to help him get to Thailand to the Tiger Muay Thai Camp.

My big brother suffers from severe depression, anxiety and he also struggles hugely with his weight.

In Thailand at this camp he will be able to learn how to cope with depression through training and be able to focus soley on his mind and weight loss.

We nearly lost him to depression a few weeks ago, my dad and i found him in his room unresponsive. This downward spiral started when he lost his job a little while back over night. Everything was taken from him, just like that, no warning nothing. This impacted his depression and magnified it. The reason why Joel struggles is because he is judged on his weight so it makes it very hard for him to get a job. I laughed when he said this was an issue, until he proved his point when him and my family walked into a restaurant in Taupo and people stopped and starred at him. Joel sat outside and refused to come back in.

We have been told that if he doesn't drop the weight he wont be around to see 40. I know my brother has the power to change his life he just needs the tools to be able to do this. Trust me he tries every single day. The battle is in his mind. I know his whole life will change if we could get him to this camp for 6months.

The reason i am doing this for my brother is because at the moment he has nothing, no income and no stable home. But he would still give the shirt off his back to keep you warm, he is the most humblest giant you will ever meet.

The camp is in Phuket, they specialise in weightloss, we have witnessed a few guys that have been to this camp for the same reasons and have had great success.

For Joel to go it will cost $16,000 and i know every cent will be worth it. I know that he will come back a changed man and he an inspiration to many
