My friend is in a really difficult situation. She's from another country and does not speak much english. She moved to New Zealand to be with her partner of the same nationality and they had two children who are both very young. She left the relationship as it became abusive and is now homeless with her children, moving from place to place each week. She is waiting for legal processes and has no income and no way to make money until then. As she is not a resident, she can't access support like winz or womens' refuge. Her children are NZ citizens. She can't leave NZ as she can't take them with her. Any amount, even a couple of dollars, would be greatly appreciated.
