Nanny Karen needs your help, 2 days ago her car was stolen, the police called to say it was found, but she was devastated to find this...
Bay of Plenty
After reporting her car stolen from her home in Murupara yesterday, the police rang to say her car had been found.
She was cautious yet elated to hear it was found, that joy soon turned to sorrow, anger, despair as she saw what they had done to it.
Nanny Karen was not insured and has no other transport available to her :(
All four tyres were removed, the windscreen and windows smashed, the airbag was opened, the front of the car was bashed in and a note written on the car telling her if she tried to find out who stole it she would be killed.
Nanny Karen cares for one of her own moko and four other children who aren't able to be cared for by their own families. She has raised 8 children and has 25 mokopuna.
If you are a whanau member please give what you can, if you are a stranger, anything you might koha would be especially appreciated and will go towards helping our Nanny get her vehicle sorted.
Nanny Karen is my mother-in-law and grandmother to 2 of my own children along with 23 other mokopuna.
