I am Nipesh Prakash, and I have been selected to represent New Zealand for the 2016 WTF Junior World Taekwondo , which is held in Canada.
Wellington
My name is Nipesh Prakash, I am 14 years old male and I have been a member of the Taekwondo Club in Lower Hutt, Wellington since I was 5 years old. During this time I have represented my club in taekwondo championships around New Zealand and Australia and have won 37 gold, 7 silver and 6 bronze medals in total to date.
I have also represented my club in the 2014/2016 Australian Open Taekwondo Championship and won 4 gold and a bronze medal. I aspire and live my childhood dream of representing New Zealand at the 2022 commonwealth and the 2020 Olympic Games.
This year, I am the youngest athlete selected to represent New Zealand for the 2016 WTF Junior World Taekwondo Kyorugi Championships which is being held in Canada. It is an honour to represent New Zealand on the world stage, however to attend this championship I have to raise funds to cover the cost of my travel, accommodation and expenses which is estimated to be about 4 thousand dollars.
I am therefore looking for your support to help me in my journey.
Any extra fund raised, I would like to donate it to childcancer.org.nz
