poppy the horse

My gentle and beautiful 2 year old Poppy the Horse fell down a huge bank into the Otaki river bed last week. She was rescued from the rapidly rising river just in the nick of time. Considering the huge trauma suffered, she is doing well, but has some serious injuries that will take time and special care to heal. The Wellington SPCA generously covered the costs of the helicopter rescue, for which I am very grateful. I now have Veterinary and feeding costs which will be ongoing to ensure her speedy recovery. I don't want my lack of funds to be a restrictive factor in her care so I am asking for help. Any surplus funds raised will be donated to SPCA
