Help Ricky & Janelle compete at Natural Olympia Bodybuilding Champs in Vegas!

Ricky Kee-Sue and Janelle Cheesman are a young Wellington couple that just competed at the INBA (International Natural Bodybuilding Association) South Pacific Natural Bodybuilding Championships in Taupo in August and both took out first place for their divisions.

They have both qualified to represent New Zealand and compete at the Natural Olympia Bodybuilding Competition in Las Vegas in November, but they need help to pay for flights, registration fees and accommodation fees!

The Natural Olympia is the Largest Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Competition in the world, with nearly 1,000 of the best amateur and pro natural athletes coming together for a weekend long competition!

Ricky and Janelle’s placings mean they both qualify to represent New Zealand at the Natural Olympia Bodybuilding Competition in Las Vegas this November. That means they’re good enough to compete among the best natural athletes in the world!

Ricky and Janelle’s shared passion for natural bodybuilding means they are able to support each other through tough dieting and challenging workouts.

They have been able to give each other the support and encouragement needed to bring their very best to the competition, and they’re certainly not stopping anytime soon!

About Ricky

Ricky Kee-Sue is 25 years' old and born and raised in Porirua. He is a panelbeater at Johnsonville Panel and Paint by day, and a physique bodybuilder at CityFitness by night.

Ricky has competed in three bodybuilding competitions over the past four years he has been training, placing fifth in his first competition. Although he didn’t place in his second competition, it gave him the motivation to work even harder to bring his very best physique at his next one.

With a dream of stepping on the Natural Olympia stage in Las Vegas, Ricky continued to do all he could to improve his physique naturally so he could give it another go this year.

His hard work and determination paid off as he took out first place in INBA Physique Tall Open, second place in Physique Novice and second place in Fitness Model!

About Janelle

Born and raised in the Hutt Valley, Janelle Cheesman is 24 year's old and discovered her true passion for health and fitness when she met Ricky in August 2014.

She works full time as a communications coordinator for Presbyterian Support Central and is a freelance photographer and writer.

Janelle started a blog, Pursuing Perfection, to document her seven month preparation for entering the INBA 2016 South Pacific Championships with Ricky.

After losing a whopping 16kg and working hard over the seven months leading up to the competition, Janelle’s hard work and dedication paid off in a big way.

It was her very first time competing and she took out first place for INBA Bikini Diva Novice, first place Bikini Diva Open, first place for Fitness Model, and first place for INBA South Pacific Bikini Diva Overall – an achievement that is extremely rare for a first time competitor!
