Hello again everyone ❤ What a hectic few days. We've gone from trying to grapple with the shocking heartbreaking news that we would likely have to say goodbye to Rosie, to suddenly having everything turn around so quickly. We are overwhelmed by the way that the selfless love of others has allowed things to turn out so differently than we had feared, the life-saving surgery that was once so out of reach has now been completed and Rosie is in recovery!!!!! So far everything seems to have gone really well, if Rosie's tests keep showing her kidneys are kicking back into action then she could even be home as soon as Monday! It all just feels like a whirlwind of a miracle and we are blown away that everyone rallying around us has allowed this to happen. To all of you kind souls who have reached out with kind messages of support, prayed for miracles, or generously given, we cannot thank you enough. This givealittle page has allowed us to bridge the daunting gap between what we could scrape together ourselves and what was needed to make this happen for wee Rosie. Every dollar that has been so kindly given is one less that we will have to take out in a loan to pay the final bill, and it's hard to find the words to express what a world of difference that makes to us living off of just part time jobs. We simply would not have ever made it to this point without you all - strangers, friends and family. To those who we will hopefully be able to give thank you hugs to soon, and to the sneaky anonymous people we will never know to thank, we hope you all know how beloved you are to us. We will never be able to shake the feeling of being so surrounded far and wide with unconditional love and support. We hope that someday in some way we can return back to you the love you've shown us!

Hello friends. Just a little Rosie update. First of all, WOW. We have been absolutely blown away by the outpouring of care and generosity we have experienced since creating the givealittle for Rosie’s surgery just 24 hours ago. Thank you doesn’t cut the cake to express how grateful we are for everyone who has reached out, shared the post, prayed for healing and provision, or contributed towards Rosie’s surgery. We are so humbled and touched that our community - and even strangers!- would care so much about your wee sick kitty cat. We have been given so much hope by the rallying of support in the face of finding out today that Rosie hasn’t managed to pass her kidney stones and therefore her only chance is to go ahead with surgery urgently. We made the call this afternoon, encouraged by how much love there is around us, to take a leap of faith and book Rosie in for surgery tomorrow morning. We have until Monday to pay the final bill, at which point we will take out a loan to help us pay whatever the kind donations + our savings doesn’t cover. Every dollar has made SUCH a difference, not only to Rosie’s chances, but to us feeling so hopeful and loved.

If you are able to please share the link to the fundraiser if you feel to do so that would be incredible. Continued prayers that the surgery goes perfectly and that everything keeps falling into place for the costs to be covered means the world to us.

I leave you with a wee photo of our brief covid carpark visit with Rosie today ahead of her big operation 💛

Wow. We are more than overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support and generosity that has flooded in this morning. To everyone who has prayed, shared the link, or given, thank you, thank you, thank you. Your love has truly strengthened us and warmed our hearts in the face of having just received the news that it's confirmed that Rosie has been unable to pass the stones on her own. The vet gives her a very low chance of survival without surgery, but with the operation he believes there is a really promising chance that we may have several more years with Rosie. We will need to make the difficult decision on surgery this afternoon, but we are facing it with more hope than ever before that this may actually be an option accessible to us.
