Rescue Rusty needs knee surgery
Waikato
Rusty is a 5 year old Pomeranian X who came to Paws 4 Life to be rehomed. After his vet check, it was discovered that Rusty has a luxating patella and requires surgery on his knee before he can be made available for adoption. Rusty must have his surgery to live a happy full life and without it, he cannot be rehomed. Rusty arrived at Paws 4 Life for rehoming a sad, scared, nervous, terrified dog. After some time in his foster home he is now such a joy; fun, affectionate, loving, playful and so, so happy! Help us, help Rusty - one surgery will set him up forever!
Paws 4 Life rescue's. rehabilitates and rehomes unwanted, neglected and abused animals. In 6 years we have rescued almost 6000 animals. All animals are vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and more. We survive on donations to help these animals and to help the people that find the animals and have no where else to turn for help.
Founded by Rachael Maher, an ex-SPCA Inspector in 2010, Paws 4 Life has grown from a one-woman operation to an organisation that the Waikato community relies on to be there for the animals.
These days we’re headed up by Rachael Maher and Jay Johanssen who are supported by an army of volunteers and foster families, and backed by the team at Kelly Andrews Veterinary Services. Between all of us we are able to offer shelter to over 1500 cats every single year, with a few dogs, goats, lambs, and rabbits thrown into the mix just to keep things interesting.
Thank you for donation for Rusty! We are over a third of the way to reaching his goal! We will update via our Facebook page :)
