Socorro's brother can no longer work, and without his income, the impoverished family cannot afford to support Socorro, and our host family cannot cover the costs alone. Becoming a teacher will not only improve Socorro's family's life, but also help a town in much need of teachers. It will only take $1200 to cover all Socorro's study costs, please help!

Thanks so incredibly much to all the wonderful, generous donors! We have reached our goal and the lovely Socorro can now fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher.
