Zuko's Surgery Cost

I felt like a part of me was missing until the day I took Zuko home with me from the SPCA, since then he has lit up my life with his crazy personality, sprinting around the house 100mph, climbing on me every night while he found the perfect spot on the bed. Almost falling down the stairs in excitement every meal time as he led me to the fridge.

Sadly the more we love the bigger the heartache when the unthinkable happens.

On Thursday the 20th I received a horrible phone call informing me that my darling Zuko had been found on the road and taken to the vet after he had been hit by a car.

He had obvious trauma to his head, fractured jaw and bleeding from his mouth. I took him to the after hours vet where he spent the night having x-rays taken and receiving the care he needed to get through the night.

The next day I transferred him to another vet where he could have surgery to repair the multiple fractures in his jaw, sadly he needed higher expertise to complete the surgery.

The next day I took Zuko to another Vet who was able to put back together as much of his jaw as possible and wire his jaw in place to allow the pieces of his jaw to reconnect.

Over the next 6-8 weeks I will be feeding him through his feeding tube as he is unable to move his jaw, he has lost one of his canine teeth and could possibly need more taken out.

Please help me provide Zuko with the care he needs
