Help me compete at the Ultimate Frisbee World Champs in London

I have been selected for the New Zealand U23 Women's Ultimate Frisbee Team (Karearea) to compete at the 2015 Under23 World Ultimate Frisbee Championships. Ultimate Frisbee is a minority sport in New Zealand, and it is quite difficult to secure funding and sponsorship. As a result the cost of funding the entire campaign falls to each athlete individually, and costs are expected to total approximately $6,600 covering flights, training, uniforms, tournament costs, etc.

I have been playing Ultimate Frisbee for four years now, and my dream has always been to be selected for a New Zealand team to compete at Worlds. Travelling to London to represent my country is a goal I have been working toward for a long time, and I am so excited to be competing internationally against the best young teams in the World.

As a full-time student I am currently juggling training, study and fundraising, however I am still struggling to meet the costs of this campaign. Coming up with roughly $7,000 is not an easy task for a uni student, and with the tournament in London and funding hard to come by, any money I can raise through Givealittle is a huge help!

The team is meeting in London to train on the 8th of July 2015, and the tournament will run from the 12th to the 18th. Playing at the Under23 World Championships is an opportunity for me to test myself against the best young Ultimate players internationally and an enormous step up from playing at nationals.
