Help the Robinson Family of Te Hihi after fire devastated their workshop and garage.
Auckland
Early hours of Wednesday 17th June the Robinson family (Ros, Andrew and Nathan) were awoken by the sound of explosions coming from their workshop/shed adjacent to their house. Fire was well underway. Andrew managed to move one vehicle to safety and bucketed water onto the corner of the house until the fire brigade arrived. They are very lucky the fire didn't spread to the house.
4 vehicles have been taken out, only 1 of which was fully insured, 2 were irreplacable classic cars and the other Nathans ute. Nathan's motorcross bike was also incinerated. Anybody that has been in Andrews shed knows what a true mancave it was, brimming with sentiment and functionality!
It is likely insurance will cover lots of the items in the shed however there is lots that it won't cover too, for instance - Nathan's items and the items passed on to Andrew by his Dad.
This page has been set up to receive donations from anybody that would like to help this hardworking family.
I'm just a friend wanting to do something to help as I'm sure will many others. The Robinsons are hard working pillars of the Te Hihi community and have helped me out on more than one occasion in times of mini crisis!
