Hi there. My name is Te Kapotai Tohu and I have been given a great opportunity.

I have been selected to represent New Zealand in the Junior World Boxing Championships in St Petersburg Russia from the 2nd to the 13th of September this year.
I have been boxing for 6 years and have been working towards my dream of one day representing our great country and to follow in the footsteps of other great New Zealand Boxers such as David Tua, Shane Cameron and more recently my good friend David Nyika.
Over the coarse of my boxing career I have accomplished a lot.
2x Waikato Cadet Champion
1x North Island Cadet Novice Champion
4x North Island Golden Gloves Champion
2013 Cadet Champion
2013 Most Scientific Cadet Boxer
I will continue to add to this list and include international medals.
The cost for the trip is $3100 in flights and a further $2300 in accommodation and food. All money raised will be used towards these costs and any other associated costs that may arise such as travel insurance and visas.
