My husband and I have unsuccessfully tried to have a baby for 6 years now. We will now be doing IVF treatment with the help of a surrogate
Bay of Plenty
My Husband and I have been trying for a baby for six years but due to my Heart Condition and pacemaker, the medication I was on and complicated open heart and ovarian surgeries which have resulted in me losing an ovary, we have lost two babies to miscarriage in the last two years. I have been advised to do IVF with a surrogate because the chances of me surviving while carrying are incredibly slim. We are so grateful to have found a surrogate to help us, but we are needing to raise $4500 by mid October this year for the ethics committee and $5000 for doctors counselling and lawyers fees by the end of the year in order for us to be eligible for government funding which will assist completion of the process – having a family. We would be so grateful for any help towards making us a little family.
