Raising money for Jazz
Upper Hutt, Wellington
She may have kept it quiet, but for the past year, Jazz has been fighting some complex health issues. Diagnosed with Ramsay-Hunt syndrome, Jazz underwent a botched treatment attempt. Not knowing why it came back, she went for an MRI. The results were a massive shock: stage two brain tumour that's turning into cancerous stage three.
This has prompted doctors to quickly start treatment to shrink the bastard down. Shortly she will start radiation therapy for 6 weeks followed by chemotherapy. While Jazz's prognosis is good as we caught it early, this is a massive financial burden.
We are reaching out for your support during this challenging time. Jazz would never ask for help herself; as we all know, she is a proud wahine. But, we know she will need it. Receiving this diagnosis is TOUGH and the added pressure of having to work on top of it makes it even tougher. Jazz has already had to step down from the role that she loves and put her studies on hold.
We don't know how her body will cope with chemo, everyone is different. Your donations will help cover essential expenses like rent while undergoing treatment, especially if she needs a break.
Any amount, big or small, will make a huge difference and show Jazz that she's not alone in this fight. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
