    Hi everyone!

    It's been a week since our Givealittle campaign closed - and we've realised we never sent out a final update! From the generous donations given through Givealittle and directly to our bank account, we have raised $23,855!

    That's a bit over $1000 a day for everyday of our campaign. What a massive effort, all thanks to you! Generous, kind people who believe in investing in young people and giving them opportunities and experiences in the outdoors! We are absolutely stoked with the support people have given to Hibburt Park and we can't wait to get those projects finished off so we can open our gates to more groups!

    While we didn't reach our full target, this is still a huge chunk of money we didn't have before and we don't have to find elsewhere. In saying that we are confident we will find that extra $26k so your donations go the distance and get the job done!

    Thank you almost doesn't seem to cut it, but THANK YOU! We are so grateful and so humbled that people believe in our vision for Hibburt Park and are willing to back it with their own money - especially in times such as these.

  • 4 days to go!

    What a week! It's been so great to see so many people getting behind our vision and being so generous! On Monday we sent out the challenge to reach $25,000 by midnight Wednesday, we didn't quite make that, but we are still so stoked to be sitting just over $18,000! One week ago today we were sitting around the $6500 mark, so it's been incredible to watch that figure go up so much. Thank you again for backing Hibburt Park and our vision to get young people camping and in the outdoors!

    There are just 4 days left - at midnight on Monday our Givealittle campaign comes to an end. While $50,000 is still a long way off, we are still 100% committed to get to our target. There is still time to give, there is still to spread the word, there is still time to reach $50,000! It's a lofty goal for sure, but anything could happen!

  • We've reached 20% of our target!

    If you are following us on either Facebook or Instagram you would have seen we sent out a challenge on Friday night, to reach $10,000 by the end of the weekend. Well, we've done it! YOU'VE DONE IT!

    TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!

    We are stoked! Beyond stoked! You guys are seriously amazing! We are so humbled that so many people are backing Hibburt Park, backing our vision, backing our rangatahi, out of their own pockets! You are all legends!

    10k is massive, BUT we still have $40,000 to go ($39,600 to be exact as I write this update) in 8 days...it seems crazy, it seems impossible, but we're still willing to give it a good crack! But we need your help!

    We have been seeking the support of businesses and other funders to get on board and contribute some big numbers to our campaign, do you know of any businesses or funders who could be willing to get behind our vision? We would love to hear from you, or send them our way. The way our Givealittle is set up is that we receive all funds given even if we don't reach our 50k target - so every dollar really counts!

  • One week down, two to go!

    Wow! What a week! We are so humbled that people have been so generous in their donations towards Hibburt Park and are getting behind our vision! A massive THANK YOU to those who have donated and those who have shared our campaign. We were stoked to cross the 10% mark on Sunday night and reach $5000. It's been somewhat of a surprise that most of our donations have been at least $100, this is definitely not something we were expecting. That's not to say the smaller donations go unnoticed, every donation makes us do a wee fist pump! We are so grateful that people are willing to invest in this place for our rangatahi and our communities. In saying all this, there is still a long way to go in just two weeks and we really want your donations to go as far as they possibly can. So please keep spreading the word, share our vision, encourage people to give whatever they can - EVERY dollar counts!

    Our park manager, James, who you would have seen in the video, has also committed to running 50km if we reach our 50k target!
